Day 1 - Arrive in Seattle and stay for 2 nights
Explore downtown Seattle. Visit Pike Place Market and Seattle Center with the Space Needle. There is also the Aquarium, the Pacific Science Center, Science Fiction Museum and the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPop), not to mention great shopping and dining. Head out to some of the neighbourhoods such as Capitol Hill, Queen Anne and Ballard for great bars, restaurants and boutique shops.

Day 3 - Seattle to Port Townsend, approx. 50 miles
Take the Washington State Ferry from Coleman Dock in downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island and continuing onto Port Townsend. Enjoy a San Juan Island and Whale Watching tour aboard the PS Express from Port Townsend, stopping for lunch at Friday Harbor. Overnight Port Townsend. 

Day 4 - Port Townsend to Port Angeles, approx. 50 miles
Drive to Sequim and make a stop at the Purple Haze Lavender Farm and drive up to Hurricane Ridge at 5200 feet. Continue to Port Angeles, take a walk around the shops in the downtown area and have dinner at one of the many restaurants. Spend one night in Port Angeles.

Day 5 - Port Angeles to Lake Crescent, approx. 25 miles
Drive to Lake Crescent, stop en-route at Storm King Ranger Station at Barnes Point and take a 1.5 mile trail to Marymere Falls. The Lake is a must-see as is the lodge which can be used as a base to participate in many recreational activities such as fishing, boating and bird watching. Stay for one night. 

Day 6 - Lake Crescent to Forks, approx. 35 miles
Drive to Sol Duc Hot Springs and take a one mile walk to Sol Duc Falls. Spend some time hiking in the Hoh Rain Forest, which is among the only protected temperate rain forests in the Northern Hemisphere. The Hoh Visitor Center is also a starting point for longer and more challenging hikes to alpine meadows and glacier fields. Stay for one night in Forks. 

Day 7 - Forks to Lake Quinault, approx. 65 miles
With over 633,677 acres, Olympic National Forest is a place of tremendous diversity and beauty. It includes a temperate rain forest, a radiating mountain range, large lowland lakes, wild rushing rivers, tidelands and saltwater beaches. You will pass several great walking beaches and Ruby Beach is a great place to make a stop. This is a beautiful setting for outdoor recreation including hiking, boating, fishing, beach combing and camping. Spend two nights in Lake Quinault.

Day 9 - Lake Quinault to Seattle, approx. 155 miles 
Take a walk around the trails and waterfalls at Lake Quinault Lodge, before taking a leisurely drive back to Seattle for your final night.
