Day 1- Boston, MA

 

Begin your holiday in Boston, with a two night stay. As America’s oldest city, Boston has a lot of history, but yet has a modern and contemporary vibe. Having undergone a lot of renovation, the harbour area is now a great place to explore and you can take a unique Segway tour of the area.

 

Day 3- Boston to Rockland, ME (approx. 189 miles)

                       

Collect your car and drive up to Rockland and enjoy a one night stay. Rockland is along the Maine coast and is known to be the lobster capital of the world. Rockland has great architecture among its historic homes and shops. There are plenty of tasty cafes and restaurants in Rockland serving local seafood of course. Rockland is home to the most Windjammers in the United States, so this is the perfect place to spend before you set sail!

 

Day 4- Windjammer - Schooner Ladona

 

Set sail upon one of the most beautiful and acclaimed sailing grounds on Earth for four nights. Your Maine Windjammer vacation will be spent exploring spruce-fringed islands, reaching across famously untrammelled bays, enjoying beautiful anchorages, visiting remote fishing villages and gallery towns, and delighting in our carefully presented cuisine.

 

All trips on Schooner Ladona include meals, except for dinner on boarding night where you can sample Rocklands well-known food. Traditional Lobster Bake and beach barbecue along with traditional accompaniments, a range of wine served every evening, daily excursions and on board entertainment on select evenings.
