Day 1 - Fly from the UK to Tampa, collect your hire car and drive to Fort Myers, approx. 125 miles.


Stay for 7 nights in a three bedroom home with private pool, or one of the areas other self-catering properties, resorts or small inns


Days 2-7  With more water than land, The Beaches of Fort Myers & Sanibel is a destination shaped by its coastline. Paddle through mangrove waterways by kayak or paddleboard, explore more than 190 miles of scenic blueway trails, or look out for dolphins and manatees in their natural habitat. Sanibel and Captiva Islands are renowned for their unspoilt beaches and world-famous shelling, while the J.N. 'Ding' Darling National Wildlife Refuge offers excellent opportunities to spot birds, alligators and other native wildlife.


Beyond the water, discover the area's rich heritage on Pine Island, home to the culture and history of the Calusa people, or take a boat trip across Pine Island Sound to Cayo Costa State Park and Cabbage Key. Cycling is a popular way to explore, with miles of scenic trails winding through coastal communities and natural landscapes. On the mainland, Fort Myers combines waterfront dining, boutique shopping and the historic River District, where brick-lined streets and views across the Caloosahatchee River provide the perfect setting for a relaxed evening.


Day 8 - Return to the airport and drop off your hire car in time for your flight home.

Alternatively you can extend your stay with a visit to the Florida Keys or head up to Orlando for some theme park thrills.
