Day 1-
Arrive in Anchorage and stay overnight for one night.

Day 2- Anchorage to Seward, approx. 4 hours by train. 
An early morning departure on the Alaska Railroad to Seward, arriving by late morning. You have the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the town, or take an optional cruise into Resurrection Bay or to the Northwestern Fjord. Overnight for one night in Seward.

Day 3- Seward to Anchorage, approx. 4 hours by train. 
In the morning depart on a 6 hour wildlife and glacier cruise into Kenai Fjords National Park. Cruise highlights include a variety of wildlife like Orca, sea lions, puffins and coastal glaciers. On your return to Seward, take the evening train to Anchorage where you will overnight for one night.

Day 4- Anchorage to Talkeetna, approx 3 hours by train. 
Depart on the Alaska Railroad, taking a scenic train ride through the Matanuska-Susitna Valley to Talkeetna, arriving late morning. On arrival there will be a 2 hour riverboat tour on the Talkeetna River and the remainder of the day is at leisure to explore this old gold mining community. Fascinating sightseeing tours to Mt McKinley and the Alaska Range are available from Talkeetna. Overnight for one night in Talkeetna.

Day 5- Talkeetna to Denali National Park, approx. 4 1/2 hours by train. 
You will arrive in Denali in the late afternoon and you will have the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight for one night in Denali.

Day 6- Denali National Park to Fairbanks, approx 4 1/2 hours by train. 
This morning enjoy a 6-8 hour bus tour into Denali National Park (snack included). With some luck you may see bears, caribou, moose, mountain sheep, wolves and a variety of birds. Mt McKinley can be seen if the weather is clear. In the late afternoon you will depart on the Alaska Railroad from Denali National Park, arriving in Fairbanks around 8pm, where you will overnight for two nights.

Day 8- Fairbanks to Anchorage, approx. 1 hour flight. 
In the late morning you will take a scheduled flight from Fairbanks to Anchorage. (Or if preferred take the 12 hour train ride back to Anchorage). Overnight for one night in Anchorage.

Day 9
Depart from Anchorage, or stay a couple of extra nights to include another package.
