Day 1 - Fly from the UK to Denver
Welcome to Denver, the Mile High City! Getting into town is easy, either by taxi or the ‘A Line Train’, which will take you into the heart of downtown in 37 minutes. Located on McGregor Square in the heart of the city, your hotel, the Rally, is less than a 10 minute walk from Union Station. Union Station is an attraction in itself, in a 1914 Beaux-Arts building which is a hub for dining, shopping and entertainment.

Days 2-3 - Discover Denver
Spend a couple of days getting to know the vibrant downtown and various neighbourhoods of the city. Denver is very walkable and bike rentals are available to help you explore at your leisure.
The Rally Hotel is in LoDo (Lower Downtown), right next door to Coors Field, on McGregor Square, the city's newest urban playground. You'll find the Milepost Zero food hall surrounding a 17,000-square-foot plaza that hosts year-round events like concerts, festivals and movie nights. LoDo is also home to Larimer Square, the city’s oldest and most historic block, the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver and Rockmount Ranch Wear, a true Western icon.

In the Downtown area you will find the 16th Street Mall , a mile-long pedestrian promenade which runs through the centre of downtown and is lined with outdoor cafés, shops and the Denver Pavilions complex with more retail and dining opportunities. Free shuttle buses cruise the mile-long mall every couple of minutes and stop at every intersection so it's easy to cover a lot of ground in a short period of time. Make sure you stop at the "The Big Blue Bear," a delightful 40-foot-tall sculpture perfect for a photo opportunity.

Art lovers will enjoy the Golden Triangle Creative District, where you can find three incredible art museums – the Denver Art Museum, the Clyfford Still Museum and the Kirkland Museum of Fine and Decorative Arts. The Colorado State Capitol, with its gold dome, is where you can stand at exactly one mile above sea level! Or check-out the River North Art District (RiNo) “where art is made." Discover several uniquely renovated spaces that provide room for creativity and street art murals around every corner.

Head about 15 miles west of the city to the Front Range, and the Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, the only naturally occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheatre in the world. Red Rocks is recognised for its star-studded concert schedule as well as its awe-inspiring hiking and biking trails in the surrounding park. Close by you can visit the Denver Buffalo Herd, direct descendants of the last wild bison herd in America, and maintained by the city in a natural setting. History buffs will want to visit the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave, with memorabilia from Buffalo Bill's life and Wild West shows, American Indian artefacts, antique firearms, and other Old West artefacts.

If you haven’t had enough retail therapy in the downtown area, then head for Cherry Creek Shopping Center where you will find a host of brand name stores, or Cherry Creek North with its galleries, high-end shops, fine dining and luxury spa.

Day 4 - Day Trip to the Rocky Mountains
You’ve spent three days with views of the stunning Rocky Mountains, so now take a day trip to actually be in them! Rocky Mountain National Park features 400 square miles (1,036 sq km) of scenic beauty, including Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous highway in the world, which crosses the Continental Divide at higher than two miles above sea level. The park has hundreds of miles of hiking trails, tranquil lakes, waterfalls, wildlife and horse riding. You can either rent a car for the day and explore at your own pace, or take a full-day organised tour, with various stopping points both in the park and in some of the nearby mountain towns.

Day 5 - Fly from Denver back to the UK
