18 April – Fly from London Heathrow to the U.S.
Fly from London’s Heathrow Airport to the USA. As there are no direct flights from the UK to Memphis, this journey will be via a U.S. ‘gateway’ airport where you will clear Immigration and Customs before taking a connecting flight to Memphis. On arrival, a waiting coach will transfer you to the hotel.
19 April – Graceland Day
Enjoy a morning tour of Graceland mansion, Elvis’s beloved home, as well as the Presley Motors Car Museum, Elvis’s aeroplanes, and the many other Elvis exhibits within the Graceland complex. Perhaps stop for lunch at Gladys’s Diner or an ice cream at Minnie Mae’s Sweets. Don’t forget to browse the many Elvis souvenir shops too! With the evening free, you may wish to visit Marlowes.
20 April – Memphis
Today you will see the major tourist sights of Memphis. On the most comprehensive tour of Elvis’s Memphis, you’ll visit the places where he went to school, church, shopped, lived, worked, recorded, performed, and more. Highlights include tours of Sun Studio, Overton Park Shell, and the Presley family’s Lauderdale Courts flat.
21–22 April – Free Days
Take the Elvis Travel Service’s free shuttle bus into downtown Memphis to visit the beautiful Peabody Hotel and see the famous Duck Parade. You might also explore the Rock & Soul or Cotton Museums, take a stroll along the mighty Mississippi River, or enjoy a sightseeing cruise with spectacular views of the Memphis skyline. Another option is to join the optional tour to Jerry Lee Lewis’s Ranch.
23 April – Tupelo
Today your coach journey takes you across the state line into Mississippi to Tupelo. Visit Elvis Presley’s Birthplace, including the humble home where he was born, the Elvis Museum, the First Assembly of God Church, the Memorial Chapel, and the ‘Elvis at 13’ and ‘Becoming’ statues, all within the Birthplace complex. This morning you will enjoy a guided tour of places significant in Elvis’s early life—you’ll see where he went to school, where he discovered his passion for gospel music, where he first performed in public, and where his mother Gladys bought him his first guitar.
24 April – Tupelo
There is so much to see and do. You might consider lunch at the Arcade Restaurant, Elvis’s favourite, a thought-provoking visit to the Civil Rights Museum, or immerse yourself in the iconic sounds of soul music with a visit to the famous STAX Studio & Museum. In addition to the free ‘walk-ups’ to Graceland’s Meditation Garden, you may want to tour the mansion again or explore more of the exhibits.
25 April – Tour A Departs
Morning free. In the afternoon, a coach transfer will take you to Memphis Airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
Guests on Tour B will continue, with an afternoon transfer to Memphis Airport for a flight to Dallas. From there, connect with your onward flight to Flagstaff, where a waiting coach will take you through the stunning Arizona landscape to Sedona and your hotel, the Hotel Arabella. Tour C joins today.
26 April – Arizona
Enjoy a full-day coach tour of Elvis locations in Sedona and nearby Cottonwood. It was here that Elvis filmed Stay Away, Joe, and many filming locations are still intact. The scenery is breath-taking—towering red rock formations, vast forests, and desert vistas stretching to the horizon.
27 April – Arizona
If it is scenery you’re after, take our full-day optional tour to one of the Wonders of the Natural World—the Grand Canyon. Alternatively, enjoy the sunshine, shopping, and laid-back atmosphere of Sedona.
28 April – Prescott
Morning free in Prescott, a fascinating town steeped in Old West history. If you’re looking to buy a genuine cowboy or cowgirl hat, this is the place! Afterwards, enjoy a drink at The Palace, Arizona’s oldest saloon, where Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday were regulars back in the 1870s.
29 April
Visit the Superstition Mountain Museum, home to the ‘Elvis Chapel’, the white church featured in Charro!. The museum is rich with myths, legends, and historic exhibits from the surrounding mountains and abandoned ghost towns. It also houses the only two surviving buildings from the Apacheland Movie Ranch fire of 2007, the Elvis Chapel and the huge barn. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive along the Apache Trail, passing through Goldfield Ghost Town to Mormon Flat Dam, before boarding the Dolly for a relaxing scenic cruise.
30 April – Tucson
Morning drive to Tucson where, before checking into the hotel, you’ll explore Elvis connections in this western city. The remainder of the day is free to relax by the pool or browse the quirky shops along Fourth Street.
1 May – Tucson
Full free day to enjoy Tucson at your own pace, or join the optional excursion to Tombstone (Boot Hill) and Bisbee. Tombstone is one of the most famous Wild West towns in history, while Bisbee is a remarkable—yet little-known—city with a fascinating past.
2 May – Phoenix
Morning drive to Phoenix, the Arizona state capital, with time for sightseeing before transferring to the airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
3 May
Mid-morning arrival at London Heathrow Airport.
