Jackson is a great base to explore the towering granite peaks of this stunning landscape, with its lakes, forests, hiking trails and wildlife viewing opportunities. Grand Teton National Park as well as the iconic Yellowstone National Park are both only a short drive away. The town itself boasts a collection of Western stores, great local restaurants, outdoor pursuit companies and is home to three ski areas! The Town Square features arches made from shed Elk antlers, all from the National Elk Refuge. If you prefer indoor activities, the National Museum of Wildlife Art has plenty of famous works on offer, including Andy Warhol and Georgia O’Keeffe.
