Price includes: Flights, accommodation and car hire. The New Jersey Adventure makes a great add on to a New York City break. We can add a couple of nights to the beginning or end of this trip so you can experience the Big Apple.

Day 1 - Arrive in Newark 
Collect your hire car and head to Jersey City, approx. 10 miles
Take it in views of the Manhattan skyline from the riverfront, stroll through Liberty State Park or rent a kayak and paddle the Hudson River. Jersey City combines the best of a cosmopolitan lifestyle with outdoor attractions and activities. 

Stay one night in Jersey City.

Day 2 - Head to Elizabeth and on to Long Branch, approx. 55 miles
The historic town of Elizabeth is where Washington boarded a boat to Manhattan to be inaugurated as United States President. He also fought in American Revolution at Elizabeth then known as Elizabeth Towne during the battle of Springfield of 1780. Take a walk through Warinanco Park or if shopping is more your thing, try The Mills at Jersey Gardens Outlet Mall The beach resort of Long Branch has long been a popular spot for enjoying the ocean, relaxing on the sand and taking in the breeze of the Atlantic Ocean.

Stay one night in Long Branch.

Day 3 - Drive to Atlantic City before continuing to Princeton, approx. 170 miles
Continue your coastal journey south to Atlantic City, known for its glitter and the neon lights of its casinos. Visit the Absecon Lighthouse and museum, New Jersey’s tallest lighthouse standing at 171 feet. Spend time on the world-famous boardwalk for an old-fashioned ice cream or corndog and enjoy the activities at the Atlantic City Pier Arcade.

Stay one night in Princeton. 

Day 4 - Drive to Newark, approx. 45 miles 
Before driving back to Newark Airport, make sure to visit historic downtown Princeton where the university carries the city's name. Princeton University is one of the top-rated Ivy League research institutions and the fourth oldest university in the United States.
