Day 1 - Fly from the UK to Dallas Fort Worth and collect your rental car. 
Explore Dallas, including some great shopping, the largest urban arts district in the nation, 13 entertainment districts and the famous Pioneer Plaza with the world’s largest bronze monument featuring 3 cowboys driving 40 long-horn steers. Visit the 6th Floor Museum which presents the life, death and legacy of President John F. Kennedy.

Stay for two nights in Dallas.

Day 3- Dallas to Austin, approx. 200 miles. 
Take a historic walking tour of the city, and explore the Nation’s tallest state capitol building. Enjoy the ‘Live Music Capital of the World’ along 6th Street in the evening. The area also has some great bike trails and golf courses, and there are a range of other outdoor activities on offer as well. If you happen to be in Austin on a Sunday, don’t miss Stubb’s Sunday Gospel Brunch. 

Overnight for two nights in Austin.

Day 5 - Austin to San Antonio, approx. 80 miles
Spend two nights in San Antonio, where you can take a stroll along Riverwalk, visit the historic Alamo and shop at the El Mercado and Farmer’s Market Plaza – one of the largest Mexican markets outside of Mexico.

Day 7 - San Antonio to Corpus Christi, approx. 150 miles
This could be the time to spend the day or two on the beach and the area boasts miles of unspoilt coastline in the Padre Island National Seashore, along with a variety of wildlife such as birds and sea turtles. You can also enjoy shelling, kayaking, surfing, kite boarding, tennis and golf. If outdoor activities are not your thing, the area also has museums, galleries, an aquarium, good shopping and local restaurants and nightlife. 

Stay three nights in Corpus Christi.   

Day 10 - Corpus Christi to Galveston, approx.  250 miles
Galveston is an island with 32 miles of beaches, fresh seafood on every corner, and a full calendar of festivals. Explore museums, set out on a boat tour, or spend the day watching waves roll in.

Stay two nights in Galveston. 

Day 12 - Galveston to Houston, approx. 50 miles
Houston is a cosmopolitan city with Southern hospitality and charm. As America’s fourth largest city, it boasts restaurants, nightlife, museums and galleries to match. Also in Houston visit NASA and rocket park on tram tour and enjoy the IMAX theatre in the Johnson Space Center currently showing Moonwalkers narrated by Tom Hanks.

Day 14 - Houston to Grapevine – approx. 260 miles
Grapevine is a charming city with a blend of outdoor adventure and historic Texas character. Just minutes from DFW Airport and the Fort Worth Stockyards, it offers wineries, restaurants, boutiques and galleries to explore. Take a ride on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad or visit the Fort Worth Stockyards for a true taste of Texas. Known as a city of “Cowboys and Culture,” Grapevine combines Western heritage with museums, shopping and dining, while Sundance Square and the Stockyards bring the spirit of the Old West to life.

Spend one night in Grapevine. 

Day 15 - Drop off your car at Dallas Fort Worth airport in time to check in for your flight home.
