Immersive Experiences

Macerich Shopping Centers & Fashion Outlets continues to reimagine their centers to deliver the best shopper experience with new unique entertainment options and immersive fan attractions.

 

Current featured attractions include Candytopia at Tysons Corner Center. This outrageously interactive candy wonderland is perfect for families. Visitors can explore various candy-themed rooms built entirely out of candy in this immersive Charlie and The Chocolate Factory stylised experience.

 

The newly opened 20,000 square foot Crayola Experience is home to 19 immersive, hands-on experiences. Visit Arizona’s most interactive destination, encouraging creativity and play for children of all ages. At the Crayola Experience, interactivity is key, with must see attractions including the 4D colouring adventure, create your own crayon and star in your very own colouring book!

 

SCHEELS, the sporting goods mega store opened in September 2023 at Chandler Fashion Center and is home to fun attractions for the whole family. There is a large 45-foot ferris wheel in the center of the store along with a life-like wildlife mountain featuring a variety of different animals. The spectacle is the 16,000-gallon saltwater aquarium home to thousands of different fish. After exploring the store, visitors can pay a visit to the café or Fuzziwig’s candy shop, loaded with all the classic sweets and trending treats.

 

The Dr. Seuss Experience is soon coming to Santa Monica Place! Due to open in November 2023, The Dr. Seuss Experience invites guests to take an interactive journey into the wonderful world of Dr. Seuss and interact with all your favorite characters. Explore the iconic Truffula Trees from The Lorax, experience the Stars Upon Thars Sneetches Mirror Maze, hop on the carousel inspired by If I Ran the Circus, and much more.
