With a farm-to-table scene that is world class, you simply must not visit Sonoma County without exploring a variety of scintillating and tasteful options to expand your palate. A fine example of this is SingleThread; a now iconic Healdsburg restaurant which recently retained its three (yes, three) Michelin stars. Other restaurants to have been recognised with stars include Barndiva (also in Healdsburg) and Cyrus in Geyserville, which reopened after much anticipation in 2022.

As well as fine dining, Sonoma has a bounty of natural beauty in the form of the meandering Russian River and historic state parks, complete with redwood forests. These towering trees, that can reach heights of 370 feet and beyond, will take you to a place of serenity, and provide a canopy under which children love to explore. Sonoma County's redwood forests span over 800 acres, and can be experienced on foot, by bike, via horseback, or even zipline.

Sonoma County also features over 50 miles of beautiful coastline, where trails along windswept beaches and rugged bluffs offer a very different experience to the quaint communities of Sonoma Valley. Visitors should also check out the Charles M Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa. The creator of Charlie Brown, Snoopy and friends spent his final 30 years in Sonoma County's capital, where his work and associated characters are celebrated for all to enjoy.
